ABSTRACT

The Importance of creativity lies in the energetic power to push forward the individual`s originality and to make the individual think ar create something new. On the other hand, imitation is scarcely related to originality, but it imitates or copies other models. It is imitation when it takes place understanding the meaningful process of imitation itself. However it can not be said imitation when only imitating surface form takes place regardless of the inner meaning. Man attempts to create music through skillful method learned by individual and social imitation, and also tries to express his own originality in music by means of training his own possibility. Provided that learning music begins with imitation and later combines with emotional education, self-realization through musical disciplin of creative thinking could lead the way to character building as well as to the ideal music education.
