The purpose of this study was to develop a test for self-recognition of music teaching skills of early childhood teachers. The initial test for this was composed by using results of papers and researches for early childhood music education and teaching skill. The content validity and the face validity of initial test was verified through discussions with expert groups and early childhood teachers, respectively. We know from research results that a test for self-recognition of music teaching skills of early childhood teachers was composed of total 30 questions which were a musical concept(10 questions), a musical skill(10questions)and a general teaching skill(10questions). We also know from a survey results of 301 early childhood teachers of G city for a test for self-recognition of music teaching skills that the discrimination of question which represented the quality factor of question for a test and the internal consistency of question and the correlation of subordinate area which represented the confidence of criterion were pertinent.
