The aim of this study was to develop a tool of testing a young child`s early musical propensity for teachers. For this, the investigator examined the existing test tools of musical propensity, preceding studies and related literature. And then the 25-question test tool was modified, supplemented and carried out factor analysis and correlation analysis on it in order to examine its construct validity and reliability. Thus, the investigator finally developed a 21-question test tool of which sub-spheres were four: Musical interest(5 questions), musical competency (7 questions), musical value (3 questions), and musical volition (6 questions). As for the validity and reliability of test tool of a young child`s musical propensity for teachers, the test tool developed in this study was very reliable and valid in its rating and measurement.
