The purpose of this study was to analyze the stressors elementary school teachers had regarding music instruction in Gwangmyeong City. Through survey of 200 elementary school teachers in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi Province, the analysis results led to the following conclusions. The teachers displayed the highest level of stress in educational environments of the five factors(music instruction, students, educational environments, educational professionalism, and musical professionalism) because of the lack of music rooms and diverse music instruments during music classes. They showed a high stress level in the questions about the teachers` edition in the factor of ``music instruction``, about the large number of students and the wide musical difference among the students in the factor of ``students``, about the absence of expertise on teaching methods for creative musical activities and Korean traditional music in the factor of ``professionalism``.
