This study`s purpose was to follow The Study of the Character and Purpose of Art Program for Personality Education in Reformatory School (Lee, Hwasik, 2011) and to present the curriculum of music for character education in ``the Gobong Middle·High School`` which is a subsidiary of the Department of Justice. The curriculum of arts character education is divided four areas; art, music, dance, and drama. Among them, this study focuses on curriculum and teaching of music. This study`s purpose needs to extract the elements of character education and to cultivate these elements. that so music systems divide into experience and representation, understanding area.
