The purpose of this study is to provide the useful information for the career education of music major college students by investigating their career self-efficacy and the jobs they want for the future. The subjects of the study were 336 music major college students. The survey was conducted using CDMSE-SF(Career Decision Making Self-Efficacy Scale-Short Form) and the results were analyzed if there are significant differences among career self-efficacy of different future jobs, majors, and grades. The results represented that most of the music major students(total 66%) want to be performing artists(including member of musical groups and music director) and the rest of the students want to be a music teacher, officer in musical industry, etc. The results also indicated that there was no significant difference in the career self-efficacy according to students` major, grade, and the jobs they want. However, there were some significant differences in the subcategories of career self-efficacy. There were significant differences in the subcategories, job information search, future plans, and selecting goals according to the jobs they want. There were significant differences in the subcategory, problem solving according to the students` grade, and in problem solving and self appraisal according to the students` major.
