ABSTRACT

This study aims to develop an evaluation model that can be applied to modernize the music class environment and keep up with changes in the educational paradigm, in order to develop the performance evaluation as well as to improve existing evaluation methods. Based on the Smart Education of Project Study, a creative music evaluation was created. The evaluation model is structured into three-phases. First, During the “Preparatory Phase”, students participate in self-assessment activities and learn to utilize the features of the app. The “Planning-Execution phase” allows teachers to observe and evaluate students using the app to develop creative music through initiatives and activities. Lastly, the “Presentation phase” encourages students to present their creative songs as well as to evaluate their fellow students’ work. Each phase is composed of the following: the instructional guide plan, evaluation and tools for every project, rating scale for the results, feedback, and intensified supplementary learning materials for every level.
