The purpose of this study is to design 9 steps of Sogeum lessons based on Gagne`s instructional theory and verify the effectiveness. For this, it was initially assumed that the experimental group that Gagne`s instructional theory was applied to get higher achievement evaluation results than another group with conventional classes. The experimental group and the other group in 6th-grade students in elementary school were taught according to Gagne`s instructional theory and conventional teaching method, respectively. The verification results of the hypothesis are as follows: The analysis of differences between the two groups revealed that the experimental group achieved higher scores in posture, fingering, beat, tune, breathing and Sigimsae expression than their counterparts, showing statistically significant differences.
