The purpose of this study has been summarized based on the analysis of the concept of alternative schools and its music classes since the growth in interests for the value of music education has been more prominent. In the first instance, the concept of the alternative and alternative school have been analyzed in order to identify the characteristics of music class taught in alternative schools. Therefore, its background of origins and its development process have been observed as the starting point of thorough investigation. Thus, the following five criterias of class time, class contents, educational environment, music teachers and students classification have been segmented according to the output from the above analysis data observed. As a result, the inter-relation between its quality and the balance of music class can be differentiated in relations to which the subordinate public education system it is under. And this factor shows a great influence can be resulted on its expectation for each educational organization.
