This study is aimed, through right understanding of piano pedagogy, to guide the settlement of the new field of piano pedagogy in our country. For this purpose, it is analyzed to see how the piano pedagogy has been developed till now. Analysis is also made to compare the curriculum of master course in our country on the basis of the master degree program in 3 American universities and the guideline of master degree of piano pedagogy from the main studies in America. I came to the conclusion that there need a new understanding of professors of piano pedagogy and an improvement of the problems in the operation of master degree program. Some urgent tasks are suggested on the basis of these problems. It is expected that there would be a growth in the new field of piano pedagogy in cooperation of colleges and the studies.
