ABSTRACT

This study attempts to reveal the structural diversity of the recent German music curriculum and to identify its implications. As a result of analyzing all the music curriculum used in each state, the system took the form of practically guiding learning contents to the teacher. But, curriculum names, content structures, competence guidance, and revision time varied from state to state, although designing music curriculum around competences is a fundamental trend, implying the use of competence-oriented frameworks to refine the learning area efficiently.
